Book Talk Review; Retribution

Welcome to our last day of B.C. Burgess.... Awww I am kinda sad that it is over now. I might have to do a reread of the series just so I can live my favorite parts over again.

If you missed the Book Talks on Descension, Impassion, or Deception you can find them under the Book Talk Reviews tab here: http://realtalkbooktalk.blogspot.com/search/label/Book%20Talk%20Reviews

And if you missed the Book Talk Author Talk on B.C. Burgess you can find that under the Book Talk Authors tab: http://realtalkbooktalk.blogspot.com/search/label/Book%20Talk%20Authors

 Retribution

(Yes I just downloaded the cover off of amazon because I am too lazy to do anything else)

 Layla
Enduring brutal attacks and heartbreak, Layla Callaway's life would be unbearable if she didn't have a hero willing to fly to the ends of the earth to protect her. Their bond is stronger than ever, but so is the danger she faces.

Quin
Quin Kavanagh’s purpose has never been clearer. He lives to protect Layla and hold a piece of her extraordinary heart, but he’s about to face the fight of his life, and this battle may mark the end of it.

The Enemy
Agro’s hunt started twenty-two years ago – a journey of death, destruction and obsession. Now the prey is within his sights, and he’ll burn the whole world down to catch her.

Stretching from coast to coast and teeming with loathed villains and beloved heroes, The Mystic Series is rich with emotion, magic and intrigue. Whether the reader is laughing, crying or falling in love, they'll find themselves invested in Layla's fate through the rich dialogue and emotionally driven characters that weave the web of this fiery tale.

This book broke my heart and put it back together again all within the same sentence.
I could not love a book more. I also couldn't cry over a book more as I did in this one.
This takes everything to a whole new level... this is taken directly from my review on amazon:

" The intensity of it, the moving heart-touching scenes, the love scenes, the intimate scenes, the laughable scenes. Everything is uped and more intense, more moving, more loveable, more intamite, more laughable...just more all around.
The danger is so much more and it marks the end of one thing and the start of another..."

That sums it up pretty nicely without giving anything away.

I cried pretty much 80% of this whole book, some where happy tears, some where tears because of the things that Quin and Layla said to each other, or words of wisdom or something someone else said to one or both of them. And then there was the angry tears...oh yeah lots of angry tears.

Bonnie puts the   characters through a lot in this book...and from what I hear she puts them through more in the next book. I also put in my amazon review that I got pissed off at the book and the author herself for doing this to our lovable characters. While I love and have forgiven her i am anxious for Destruction.

I wish I could do something special for this last day of B.C Burgess but that isn't possible for me...

The thing I can do is rave and tell you to go out and buy these books love these books as I love them... know what it means to fall in love with an author through there writing. It's possible I have am in love with many amazing authors because of their amazing story-telling

That concludes this book talk and our four days of B.C. Burgess... but it is not the last we will see of her... expect another Book Talk where I just ramble on and on about the author and how amazing and loveable her books are when Destruction comes out... Due to release in May but hope we get it a little bit sooner!
