Book Talk Review; The Edge of Never

The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski is one of the best books I read in 2013, with great characters and a great story-line

Sometimes life takes you off course . . .

Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett thought she knew exactly where her life was going. But after a wild night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she shocks everyone-including herself-when she decides to leave the only life she's ever known and set out on her own. Grabbing her purse and her cell phone, Camryn boards a Greyhound bus ready to find herself. Instead, she finds Andrew Parrish.

Sexy and exciting, Andrew lives life like there is no tomorrow. He persuades Camryn to do things she never thought she would and shows her how to give in to her deepest, most forbidden desires. Soon he becomes the center of her daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But there is more to Andrew than Camryn realizes. Will his secret push them inseparably together-or destroy them forever?

Andrew Fucking Parrish...Oh my God how I love Andrew... he is hot, he is deep, he is naughty and is not afraid to express himself, he has a dirty mouth that I just want to love

Camryn is a little depressed and messed up from a tragedy and it stuck her life hard, she feels stuck in a life that she doesn't really want but puts up with it anyway. Then one night while she is out with friends something happens to fuck her up even more, and then her best friend calls her a liar and a slut and leaves her.

Camryn decides that she is done with this life and sets off on a journey all her own.

This journey leads her to Andrew who is just coasting through life and doing whatever makes him happy at the time. When he meets Camryn it is just a friendship and a thing about how she shouldn't be traveling alone. He knows that they can't ever be more than that because of this deep secret that he is holding.

But of course they break and   they do become more than what they were.

This isn't like your typical romance.. Andrew helps Camryn in ways that she didn't know she needed help. He helps her live and shows her that it is okay to just throw caution to the wind and do whatever you want in that moment because you might never be able to get that opportunity again.

Camryn helps awaken something in Andrew that he didn't want at all because of what is going on with him. He fell in love with her and he didn't want to but he did and she fell in love with him and it was beautiful

I cried during this book, It was an eye opener and helped you look at life a little differently and showed that it is okay to live in the moment and to take chances and to be yourself... the tears didn't start till near the end and they didn't stop until after I finished the very last page.

It was a fresh book filled with life and beauty and takes you places you never expected

*Quote- "The heart always wins out over the mind. The heart, although reckless and suicidal and a masochist all on its own, always gets its way. The mind may be what's best, but I don't give a shit what my mind is telling me anymore. Right now, I just want to live in the moment."- Andrew Parrish
