Book Talk Review; Forever Mine

Forever Mine; book 1 in The Moreno Brothers series...

Seventeen-year old Sarah's life is turned upside down when her single mom is sent to jail. She's forced to move, leaving behind everything she's ever known, including her best friend Sydney. Lost and bitter in a new school, her one goal is to save money and move back home. Then she meets Angel Moreno.

Enigmatic but gorgeous, Angel is almost too good to be true. Except for one thing, his archaic belief that guys and girls can never be "just friends". The problem? Sarah's best friend Sydney is not a girl.

With their unexpected romance intensifying to places neither ever experienced, how long can Sarah keep Angel in the dark about the guy waiting for her back home?

This book is the first in its series and what a way to start off a series (all the books can be read as stand-alones but it is best to read them in order)

So Sarah moves in with her aunt and uncle and starts school with her cousin Valerie. There she meets Angel Moreno.. *sigh* Angel is hot and sexy and a total alpha

Angel and Sarah start off a romance that is sweet and sexy and Just ahh

Angel is hot and sexy and protective, but his view on guys and girls being friends is a big factor in this book.. Sarah's best friend is a guy and she doesn't tell Angel that right away.

Actually it is quiet explosive when he does find out and I just Cried and cried when that scene came up.

*Note- Just because I cry during some books does not mean that everyone will.. I am just an emotional reader who cries at EVERYTHING But there are some books that you will cry to and some you won't... this just happens to be one of those books that I did because I am a weirdo...

So I read this book a while ago... I forget exactly when but it was when it first came out, and then I did a reread of the series but that was a while ago too.  But I remember almost everything I read...which is why I rarely do rereads unless the book is like Epic (like when it happened with The Sea of Tranquility which i reread weeks after reading it the first time) Or i just get bored and pick something that calls out to me... which is why i never get anything done.

So some parts are a bit blurry for me but I do remember parts that stuck out or major points... i remember everything but forget little details... but not often do i forget... in most books I can recite whole lines, sometimes i mix up a few words but i get them right.

Like the fact that Sarah's cousin Valerie is a small petite blonde who can eat as much as the big buff  Alex Moreno (Their book is #2 Always Been Mine)

I also remember what a fucking bitch this whore Dana is, her and Angel messed around in the past and she tries to get to Angel and tries to piss off Sarah... fucking whore tramp slut-bag bitch...

You can guess that Sarah being friends with Sydney doesn't go over well with Angel. But of course they can't be apart because love always wins in the end.

*Quote- "He always felt like an untamed animal around Sarah, but lately it was different. She was all he ever thought about now, and any time away from her felt too long. Angel closed his eyes and kissed her. Then the words came without warning. 'I love you, Sarah'" - Angel Moreno

Aww I love Angel and his 'untamed animalness'
