Book Talk Review; My Unexpected Forever

Image
The second book in The Beaumont Series by Heidi McLaughlin  While there is a novella that comes after Forever My Girl, I haven't read it yet, but I plan to. Like all the books in the Series the novella is a standalone. When I get around to reading it I will do the Book Talk.   I expected a life of music.   I expected to raise my son.   It took one look to make everything change.   I never expected happiness.   I never expected to find her.   I never expected to feel desire.   I never expected I’d be a family man.   I never expected to be loved.   I never expected to fall in love.  They say you should expect the unexpected, I didn’t realize my unexpected would be the forever kind.  Harrison James. He is so sexy, so sweet, and just so my type of BBF.   Katelyn is the perfect mom, perfect wife, who is slowly unraveling from the death of her husband.  We learned in Forever My girl that Liam's best friend from high school, and Katelyn's first

I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I've poured my soul into my music, but I've never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile.  And now I'm going back.  After ten years.  I hope I can explain that after all this time.  I still want her to be my forever girl.    This is the first book in the Beaumont Series     This is the story of Liam and Josie. After Ten Years Liam is back in Beaumont. After Ten Years he sees Josie.     Josie, who's heart he broke when he decided to go out and break the mold.     Josie, his high school sweetheart and the only one who's ever h

Book Talk J Sterling

Our next Beautiful Author is the amazing J Sterling!  Jenn is the author of In Dreams, Chance Encounters, The Games Series; The Perfect Game, The Game Changer, and The Sweetest Game, and her latest release Seeing Stars.   I got fired from my last job. It's true. I know you're sitting there thinking, "Jenn, how could anyone in their right mind fire someone as amazing and awesome as you are???" And i'd love to give you a good reason, but the truth is... being This! Awesome! is clearly very scary to other less awesome people.  :) So I said screw them and started writing my first book. And you know what I realized? Writing books that mean something to me is a million times better than working my ass off for someone who doesn't really care about anything other than the bottom line. My soul feels more satisfied. My heart , more full. So thank you for reading, loving and recommending the stories I write. I think you're awesome-

Callie spends countless hours staring at appliances to make sure they are really unplugged. She wastes obscene amounts of time checking for murderers in various corners of her house and entire sleepless nights performing pointless checking rituals. Then every spare minute is filled with inspecting doorknobs, chairs, floors, etc. for minuscule traces of germs. Oh, and she does all of this as she counts to three over and over again in her head. She does this every day. Without fail. Dr. Blake just doesn't fit into her schedule. Until he does. Until Callie begins to trust him. Until she starts to need him. And want him. And . . .
