Book Talk Review; Easy

Easy by Tammara Webber, is a book about girl's struggle to find the trust she had lost and finding the unexpected love from a secretive boy with a past he has tried to overcome.

 Rescued by a stranger.
 Haunted by a secret
 Sometimes, love isn't easy...

He watched her, but never knew her. Until thanks to a chance encounter, he became her savior...

The attraction between them was undeniable. Yet the past he'd worked so hard to overcome, and the future she'd put so much faith in, threatened to tear them apart.

Only together could they fight the pain and guilt, face the truth - and find the unexpected power of  love.

A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl's struggle to regain the trust she's lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy.

A girl who believes trust can be misplaced, promises are made to be broken, and loyalty is an illusion. A boy who believes truth is relative, lies can mask unbearable pain, and guilt is eternal. Will what they find in each other validate their conclusions, or disprove them all?
This book is heart breaking, and beautiful. It is so filled with emotion that I cried during this book it is just that Good.
Jacqueline is a girl who two weeks prior to Easy starting has been dumped by her boyfriend... Yes dumped, so she finds herself at a frat party that she was conned into by her best friend and roomate Erin. Jacqueline decides to leave early and... someone follows her out.

It is a very scary emotional scene right in the beginning of the book and It was hard to read so I know that it was hard to write so kudos to the author for that.

It is very real. The whole book is set with college age characters and real life events that could happen to anybody.

Lucas is a mystery, he allows Jacqueline to get close but then he doesn't, holds secrets tightly in him and thinks that he has placed the demons of his past behind him.

Jacqueline tests that and she wants to get closer to the mysterious boy who came in and saved her from a fate she didn't deserve.

But in order to do that she has to learn how to regain the trust she had lost that night.

This book is emotional it is real and it hits straight to the heart.

The situations are ones that could happen to anybody at anytime anywhere. And it is always tough to read something like that because not only do you feel what the characters are going through you know that it is real and that at it could happen to anybody. That it does happen to people and it shows you how it affects the lives of the people involved.

Real situations in books are always emotional for me because it is saying here we are, this is what is out there in the world that you live in and its scary. Not only does it make for a good read but it gives you a sense of life as well.

Easy tells the story of two people who understand that life isn't easy at all. That sometimes things happen that you have no control over, and that sometimes falling in love is easy but getting past the demons and o the point where you can feel like you are able to love is so much harder.

*Quote- "Choosing to be with you isn't a difficult decision, Jacqueline. It's easy. Incredibly easy."

I love Lucas he is protective and caring and he makes everything seem a little better. I see what Jacqueline sees when she thinks of and looks at and loves Lucas.

I admire Jacqueline, she discovers her inner strength
