Book Talk Review; Romero

The Forth book in Elizabeth's Moreno Brothers Series... Romero

Prim and proper middle school teacher Isabel Montenegro always runs the opposite direction from men like Ramon Romero. A foul-mouthed, uneducated, loose cannon has no place in her careful plans. But instead of running away, Isabel is completely captivated. The intensity of his nature, while a bit daunting, mesmerizes her in ways she can’t begin to understand. She’s unwilling to walk away—even when her instincts are screaming at her to run.

Romero has no idea what he's getting himself into when he first kisses Isabel. Shocked at the passion she invokes in him, he believes he can keep his usual short fuse under wraps. Falling fast and hard for someone so flawlessly sweet only makes him more aware that he’s far from perfect. If she is ever witness to his biggest imperfection, he’s sure she’ll bail. But when her meddling sister does the worst thing imaginable—bring other men between him and his Izzy—that fuse is lit and all bets are off.

 Short Expert:

He knew she’d only said what she did because she was mad, and hurt. But he hoped to hell she didn’t actually act on it to prove a point. “Izzy, I get it. Okay? I made a mistake. I was stupid. I’m sorry. It’ll never happen again.” He got down on his knee next to the bed and touched her arm. “Please don’t do anything just to make things even… you have no idea how crazy that would make me.”

Romero is by far one of the sexiest Book Boyfriends out there.

He is foul-mouthed and hard and passionate and just oozes that sexual appeal.

Isabel is a proper middle school teacher who knows she needs to stay far away from a guy like him.

But of course after Romero charms her she just can't stay away.

Their first kiss is romantic and amazing and the kind of kiss every girl dreams of.

Everyone knows already that Romero has the shortest fuse of all the guys and the highest temper, and we all have already meet Alex Moreno... But it seems that Romero may be worse.

But it is his protective nature over those that he loves and the deepness about him as we learn more about him catches us and makes us fall in love just as Izzy falls in love with him.

Izzy's sister is a bitch. Period. She is a manipulating controlling bitch, just because she is unhappy doesn't mean she can be that way to her sister.

Yes I do feel a little for her as we uncover somethings but that is all I can say.

I love Romero it is hard not to. Izzy is perfect, not just in Romero's eyes but she really is. Of course nobody is really perfect but Izzy is pretty close to it.

When shit goes now for them oh boy does it go down! It is crazy and only the type of things you can get in an Elizabeth Reyes novel. It is fast and intense and heated much like Romero himself and it tears at the heart because you can see the passion there and the love. The intensity of these two characters together is enough to make you come to tears by jsut how perfect the whole thing is.
