Book Talk Review; Hector

The third book in Elizabeth's 5th Street Series is Hector

 Womanizer--check.
 Cocky--check.
 Dangerous--checkmate.

Staying away from him was indisputably the sensible thing to do. The problem? She wasn't just drawn to him; she was utterly mesmerized...

Charlotte Brennan is no stranger to heartache and mortification. Her past is full of both. So when amazing and incredibly intense Hector Ayala, literally jumps into Charlee's life, her walls are immediately up. Letting her guard down and sharing her past and deepest secret is not happening. Charlee is not looking to get her heart crushed once again. However, her willpower proves to be no match for Hector's mesmerizing pull.

Guilt is a profound emotion to deal with and no one knows this better than Hector. So when he gets the chance to make up for a past indiscretion that's been gnawing away at him for months, he takes it. Doing so means he'll also have to pass up pursuing Charlee, the only girl he's ever been so fascinated by. But his inability to explain why they could never be has him dealing with a new kind of
guilt--the guilt of knowing he is unwillingly breaking her heart.

New Adult Contemporary - *Mature Content* Recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual situations and language.

Lets start off with a quote from the book that I just absolutely love

*Quote- "This wasn't something you just decided you were going to do. It was something that happened, and there was nothing in your power to stop it."

Can I just say that Hector grew up nice. Really nice.
I don't know how Elizabeth does it but every single one of her guys has been swooning in one way or another. Every. Single. One

Charlee is such a sweet girl. (She's kind of dirty too) and get this she is Elizabeth's first non Latina Heronie... I know shock right. But that of course is one of the many reasons she works well with Hector.

 Hector is a total Alpha.

Hot. This book is hot and full of the emotion that you can come to expect from a Elizabeth Reyes book.

Hector and Charlee are on the college chess team. Instant attracted on both parts, working through their problems isn't as easy as falling in love.

Charlee has been hurt before. She is this sweet little red-head and is  kind of quiet.

Hector is harboring a lot of guilt from high school. When he meets Walter, a guy he went to school with he tries to make up for what he didn't do in high school. Which was defend Walter against the bullies. Not just any bullies, guys Hector hung out with.

Now he wants to make up for it and stop feeling guilty for what he didn't do.

So Hector tries to be a good friend. But what do you do when your friend wants the girl that you are attracted to.

This is the problem that our Hector faces.

Hector begins to harbor a new kind of guilt. And this one hurts him worse than before.

This book has Steamy Scenes, Hot Alpha Males, and Lots of good-feels.

Charlee is a little dirty girl and of course we all know that a guy like Hector who wants Charlee to be his isn't going to deny her what she wants. ;)

When Charlee and Hector are together it is just good and right and I seriously have no idea how Elizabeth does it!

If you have read any of her books You know what I am talking about!! It is amazing writing with amazing characters and amazing story-lines and just AhMazing!
