Book Talk Review; More Than Him

The Third Book in Jay McLean's More Series

 More Than Him

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson

We live in a world of darkness and shadows,
where monsters hide and aim to ruin.

 And they did.
They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares
 But now we're back.
 And we're fighting.
Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.

This is the third book in The More Series and the Second Book in Logan and Amanda's story.

I love Logan. And I love Amanda.

For those of you who read More Than Her, you know how things end for them.

I was nervous going into this book because I wanted things to work out for them. They are just that couple who you want to see together you know.

Logan is no better off than he was when he left after More Than Her. His childhood messed him up, and while he was still struggling to survive, while he was just experiencing the light and he found a way to love through his pain. It was ripped away from him sending him spiraling down. Harder and deeper this time.

Amanda is no better off. She tries to pretend that she's alright but she's crumbling as well.

When fate brings them back together, can they reopen old wounds and try again?

That is something you'll have to read to find out.

I loved this book. As with the previous two books in the series this one is full of funny lines by multiple characters, there was also a lot of emotion from this book.

Jay knows how to write a romance full of heart and heat and love and emotion.

The types of people that these characters are and the types of situations they are put in are ones that most people would fall defeated from. These books, these characters are all strong in their own ways. They find themselves and each other. They fight for what they believe in, even when they don't act like it.

Jay does a good job of showing that in her books. Her characters are so real and so raw.

The emotions the characters go through are the ones the readers go through with them. The reader is able to feel these books.

Add hot guys to the mix and a good story line with a heartfelt romance and you have yourself an amazing love story. That is what Jay McLean writes, amazing love stories.

The Fourth book in The More Series comes out July 12th make sure you buy it as soon as it's live! I can't wait for this next installment in the amazing Series!

*Quote- "It means shadow passes, light remains. You're my light, Amanda. In a life full of shadows, and darkness, and monsters, you're my light. When the blackness fades, and the memories subside, you'll be there. You're always there." -Logan
