Book Talk Suzanne Wright

Image
I can't believe that I didn't know about Suzanne before, her vampire series is amazing!   Suzanne is the author of The Deep In Your Veins Series: Here Be Sexist Vampires, The Bite That Binds, Taste of Torment, and Consumed. The Phoenix Pack Series: Feral Sins, Wicked Cravings, Carnal Secrets, Dark Instincts, and a TBR fifth book due out 2016. The Dark In You Series: Burn, and a TBR second book due out 2016. The Mercury Pack Series: Spiral of Need and a TBR second book due out 2016      I don't remember a time when I wasn't writing something, whether it was stories, poems, or even songs - though I can't carry a tune. I only have one rule when I'm writing a book which is that it has to have a happy ending. Other than that, pretty much anything goes. I write stories that I would enjoy reading and then I just hope that others will enjoy them too. I was born and raised in England where I live with my husband (a person who doesn't judge m...

Update

Hey y'all. This is an update post, one I've been meaning to get to for a while now.  As I've explained over on my facebook page, I have decided to limit the number of blog tours I do this summer. I am trying to catch up as much as I can. I will have new Book Talks coming your way, along with some blog tours, because I cannot stop posting them.  But I will only be working with authors that I have worked with in the past, only ones that I feel really strongly about. The reason for this is because I do not have the time to answer every single email that I receive, and I receive multiple emails in one day.  I single-handily  run this blog, it is not the biggest blog around, and I'm okay with that. I appreciate every single time a person comes to my blog. So I will not be doing as many blog tours this summer, probably for the rest of the year. I do have some coming up fairly soon, however, I recently signed up for two, that I am really excited about.  ...

Book Talk Review; Becasue Of Ellison

Image
It's a New Book Talk, this time I'm going to be talking about a book I have recently read and adored. It was a recommendation from this blog I follow on Facebook, you will notice that I did not do an Author Talk on the author. I will talk about that later in a different post. Now on to the book    When I was nineteen years old, I lived for sex, drugs and a good party. I had it all - good looks, a fast car and a hot girlfriend. Nothing in life was more important.  That was, until I met Ellison James….  Since the moment I first saw her she was a raging bull; tackling me in the mud and throwing out insults as fast as her tongue could form the sound.  She was snarky  She was rude  And she pissed me off like no other woman could.  I lived beside her for a summer and in the three months that I walked by her side...  She opened my eyes  She changed my life  And she made me a better man  ***Disclaim...

Book Talk Review; Nine Minutes

Image
One of the best books I've read      On May 15, 1975, fifteen-year-old Ginny Lemon is abducted from a convenience store in Fort Lauderdale by a member of one of the most notorious and brutal motorcycle gangs in South Florida.  From that moment on, her life is forever changed. She gets a new name, a new identity and a new life in the midst of the gang’s base on the edge of the Florida Everglades—a frightening, rough and violent world much like the swamps themselves, where everyone has an alias and loyalty is tantamount to survival.  And at the center of it all is the gang’s leader, Grizz: massive, ruggedly handsome, terrifying and somehow, when it comes to Ginny, tender. She becomes his obsession and the one true love of his life.  So begins a tale of emotional obsession and manipulation, of a young woman ripped from everything she knows and forced to lean on the one person who provides attention, affection and care: her captor. P...
