Book Talk Review; Sweet Sofie

 Elizabeth gives us another fantastic romance is Sweet Sofie (The Moreno Brothers #3)

 

 

 Her entire life, Sofia Moreno has dealt with overbearing brothers. With her three older brothers always lurking, no boy would dare reach out to her. Luckily for Sofia, the one boy she's got her heart set on has always been within reach: her brother's best friend Eric, even though his loyalty to her brothers runs deep. Sofia knows there is only so much he can do before giving in to her.

 Two years older than her, Eric Diego has always known there would be hell to pay if he messed with his best friend's kid sister, Sofia.  Sofia pulled out the whip cream bottle and
walked over to the pie in front of him. She squirted some on it, then some in
her mouth, licked her lips and smiled, wickedly. Those big eyes of hers seemed
to taunt him so much lately.

 At seventeen, Eric
had no control over his raging hormones. He panicked, feeling the development
in his pants. If Mrs. Moreno or anyone walked in, there'd be no way he could
stand up without it being noticeable.

 Sofia giggled, and squirted a little more in
her mouth again.

 "Sofie." Eric glanced
around. "Stop."

 "Stop what?" Those
big innocent eyes appeared genuinely confused.

 "That." He pointed
at the can of whip cream in her hand, then tried, unsuccessfully, to adjust
himself in his pants. "I'm not gonna to be able to walk for a while thanks to
you. You better hope no one comes in here."

 He'd never said
anything of that nature to her, but things felt different lately. It took a
second to register, but when it did, instead of blushing like Eric thought she
might, she smiled again. She squirted some on the tip of her finger, then
slowly, licked it clean. Eric squeezed his eyes shut, sitting up straight. "You
evil little girl."

 Sofia laughed and walked back toward the
refrigerator. "In case you haven't noticed, I'm not a little girl anymore,
Eric."

 "Oh, I've
noticed." Had he ever.

 She turned and
smiled. "Good, now can you please tell my brothers that?"

 Good luck. They
all still spoke of her, and treated her, as if she was this fragile little
flower. The only good thing about that was it kept the guys away. Guys he knew
had to be watching and waiting.

 

 Eric Diego... sigh, Elizabeth is the kind of author who knows how to write a hot sweet sexy guy. Eric is more mellow that Angel and Alex, but he is still a hot and sexy Alpha male. 

 Eric has been in love with Sofia since they were kids, but she is his best friend's little sister... off limits due to her over protective brothers; of course that means that she is off limits to all the other guys too, so thats a win.

 

 Sofia has only ever had eyes on Eric; and when she knows he has the same feelings for her, they begin a secret romance, something her brothers would forbid if they ever found out.

 

 But as soon as she turns seventeen  she is allowed one thing; a boyfriend, and there is only one candidate in mind. Eric.

 

 But of course things soon turn rocky...

 

 Eric's dad ends up getting him an internship in L.A. that's two hours away from La Jolla... And from Sofie

 OF course they try to make it work and that works for a while but it is hard for both of them. 

 Eric and Sofia are in love with each other, that is obvious from the beginning. The way they look, they way the speak, the way they act. It isn't hard to see that they are in love right from the beginning.

 It is like they were made to be together... of course there is a few things that happen in between before they get their happily ever after.

 Like Brandon Billings, the neighbor hood boy that they grow up with and has a crush on Sofie.

 And the fact that Eric ends up going to Spain for an internship... SPAIN!

 Eric and Sofie have a strained relationship during that time, and it looks like they might not get there happily ever after during some of it.

 It was so stressful for both of them... it was stressful to read. Here are these characters that you know are meant to be together, and they are countries away and aren't at the best terms... 

 Like all of Elizabeth's books Sweet Sofie is an amazing sweet romance with hot sexy alpha males and relate-able sweet loveable female characters.
