Book Talk Review; Exiled

 M.R. Merrick's Protector series is filled with twists and turns you never saw coming, It grabs the reader until the very end....

 

 

 Chase Williams is a demon hunter in the Circle, or at least he was supposed to be. On his fifteenth birthday, Chase stepped up to the altar to claim his elemental power, but it never came. Elemental magic is passed down to a hunter through the bloodline, but on Chase's birthday, the bloodline stopped.

 Exiled without the Circle's protection, Chase has spent two years trying to survive a world riddled with half-demons and magic. When he has a run in with a frightened and seemingly innocent demon, he learns the Circle's agenda has changed: the Circle plans to unlock a portal and unleash pure-blood demons into the world.

 Vowing to stop them, and knowing he can't do it alone, Chase forms a reluctant alliance with Rayna - a sexy witch with an attitude and a secret. In their attempt to stop them however, Chase and Rayna find themselves in the middle of the Circle's plan, leaving one of them to decide what their friendship is worth, and the other's life depending on it.

 

 This book shakes you to your very core, it is filled with demons and hunters, magic and Gods, good and evil . It is so pack with action from the very first page to the very last.

 

 I am a big fan of action and adventure and magic and this book does not disappoint. 

 

 Chase is a good kid, he is a fighter and he keeps fighting even though his whole society threw him out because he didn't get his magic when the Elders said he should have. Yet he is a good fighter he is good at what he does, he is a hunter.

 

 I love Chases loyalty, To his mom, to his new allies, even if he doesn't trust them at first he is still loyal to them even if he doesn't trust them , they know something he doesn't and he wants that from them.

 Rayna is the best. She doesn't put up with Chase's shit no matter how big of an ass he is. She is an all time bad ass and I just love her character.

 I started to feel for Willie he is such a sweet and caring and loyal kind of character, he is awkward and scared and innocent, and he is just a good person.

 This book has so much emotion written into it it is crazy. The Story-line is so complex and the world that Matt created was so amazing it is like how can one person have all of this greatness stuffed into their imagination?

  The plot thickens as all plotsdo and it is amazing how well composed it is. How easily the author is able to transition form one thing to another in the blink of an eye, This whole series is jam packed with amazing-ness it is enough to give a book worm like me a head spin.

 Some things I was not prepared for and other things I was. 

 So if you haven't read this series before please go out and buy it.

 I can talk all day about this but I don't want to spoil it for anybody.... Though most of my posts could contain spoilers... so readers beware, I just random talk during these posts so I might say something that means nothing at all or that has some key parts to it so just beware...

 I was not expecting Rayna's part in everything, just as I was not expecting Tessa's fate.
