Book Talk Review; Thief

The 3rd book in the Love Me With Lies Series by the Brilliant Tarryn Fisher is Thief.

Thief is the final book in the Series and is told from Caleb's POV

Caleb Drake never got over his first love. Not when he got married. Not when she got married. When life suddenly comes full circle Caleb must decide how how far he is willing to go to get the aloof and alluring Olivia Kaspen back. But for every action in life there is a consequence, and soon Caleb finds out that sometimes love comes at an unbearably high price.
Thief is as messed up and flawed as The Opportunist and Dirty Red are.
I think the first two books warped the image of Caleb in our minds. He is hot and he is sweet at times. He knows what he wants and What he wants is Olivia.

So we all think that Caleb is this great guy and all that but we are totally proven wrong! He is horrible, he is a liar and a manipulator and no better for Olivia than she is to him.

That is part of why they are perfect for each other. They both deserve happiness after all that they went through.

We get to see what really happened all those years ago when they broke up. We get to see the way that he suffered and how hard he hurt.

We get to take a journey into the mind that is Caleb Drake and find out how the rest of this dark and twisted love story plays out.

The characters are ridiculously flawed. So flawed that it is like they are real people instead of fictional.

When Caleb gets to see his daughter and be a part of her life after almost three years of not knowing her. It tore at my heart and made me hate Leah even more so.

The stupid bitch took him away from his daughter and in that moment I wanted to hang her by her long red hair.

*Quote- "Olivia, I once told you that I would love again, and that you would hurt forever. Do you remember that?' She nods. It's a painful memory for both of us.'It was a lie. I knew it was a lie, even as i said it. I've never loved anyone after you. I never will."-Caleb Drake

"she has the kind of love that can stain your soul, make you beg not to have one, just to escape the spell she's pt you under. I've tried to break myself of her over and over, but it's pointless. I've got more of her in my veins than blood."-Caleb

This story takes us through the last leg of their journey. It changes our perspectives on the characters...again.
