 On to the Book Talk!

It’s steamy in the Gulf town of Sea Breeze. Physical attraction is the only way to beat the heat.

Marcus Hardy had hoped to enjoy a year away at college while he put the summer he’d rather forget behind him. But instead, he’s jerked right back to the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama due to a family crisis. His dear ol' dad found himself a girlfriend only a few years older than Marcus. So now his sister needs help dealing with their mother who is mentally falling apart.

His new roommate, playboy Cage owns the apartment, and he hosts a revolving door of people, in and out, at all times. Most of them are long-legged hot girls who are never there more than a night or two.

Marcus is just looking to nurse a broken heart, the only bright spot to returning is the fascinating red head who sleeps over several times a week.

The problem is she's sleeping in bed with Cage York.

Willow “Low” Foster needs a place to live. Running to Cage’s apartment every time her sister kicks her out isn’t exactly a long term solution. But Cage has a new roommate and suddenly sleeping over at her best friend’s apartment isn’t such a bad thing. Not when she gets to see those sexy green eyes of Marcus Hardy’s twinkle when he smiles at her like he wants her there.

Low is the one Cage wants to marry. But the two of them are night and day, and Marcus can’t see how Low puts up with all of Cage’s womanizing. What she really needs is a real man....like good-looking and sensible Marcus.

Marcus intends to change that assumption for both Cage and Low. Until his carefully laid plans come crashing down with a revelation he never expected. He’ll have to choose between Low or his family. Because once the truth comes out.... there’s no other choice.

To be honest I didn't care much for Marcus in Breathe. He was just the guy trying to get in with Sadie, when really she belonged with Jax.

But once I read his story I fell in love. And I mean in love. It was so good.

Sweet good boy Marcus Hardy is trying to escape his life and forget the girl who stole his heart with her big blue eyes and her blonde hair.

But things don't go according to plan, not after his sister catches their father with a woman who's not even a real woman yet.

Low has had a rough life, her sister throws her out of the house every opportunity she gets. With her community college courses and small town part time job, she cant afford her own place.

Her best friend Cage, the guy who's always been there for her. The guy who wants to marry her someday, is always there for her. When everyone else is gone, Cage is the one to love her and protect her.

Enter Marcus. When Low shows up at the door upset from a fight with her sister he doesn't know what to think. She isn't anything like the girls who usually go around looking for Cage.

Because she is different. And Marcus sees that.

When things are looking up for them both, a family secret can tear them both up.

I was emotional while reading this book. I didn't think I was going to be, because like I said, I wasn't sold on Marcus, but OMG this book was so freaking good!

I loved Marcus and Low, I loved her. She doesn't look like much but she could totally whip ass if she had too!

Low's life revolved around people who left her, except Cage, he's been the one constant in her life.

Marcus wants to prove that he's different.

Abbi is a fantastic story teller. She is able to manipulate words to do what she wants them to do. Her books are ones that I can cherish and call my favorites. She makes them come to life. It's easy getting lost in her writing.

I have read every single Abbi Glines book, except of course her newest release, and I can't wait to read that.

Marcus was the underdog in Breathe, he comes back in Because Of Low to prove that he is all sexy man! If there's one thing Abbi does best, it's writing the sexy male lead!
