I Know Lucy
I Know Lucy Blog Tour... This one looks good, While I didn't choose to participate in the Review portion of the tour I kind of wish that I did. I want to read this one.
Genre: YA Romantic Suspense
Lucy Tate is on the run. After witnessing the brutal murder of her parents, she's spent five years in hiding-- taking on different personas and faking her way through life. The authorities can't be trusted, so she remains in the shadows, always on beat ahead of the man who is forever hunting her.
That is, until she meets Zach Schultz, a senior at Monte Vista High and the one guys she can't bear to leave.
Suddenly her natural instincts to lie, steal, and run are overshadowed by something else... the desire to stay. It's her one shot at a normal life.
Curious by nature, Zach is immediately drawn to the new girl at school. How can a person look both confident and vulnerable all in the same moment? Determined to learn more about her, he tries to get close, but is thrown into a world of lies and confusion.
The only thing that becomes apparent is that discovering the truth may get him killed.

Zach...
Glancing over my shoulder, I noticed the girl had disappeared on the other side of the street. I picked up a French fry and popped it in my mouth wondering if I had been right. If it was a con, it sucked that she just ripped that guy off by three hundred bucks, although he looked as though he could take it. A slow smile spread across my face. Man, if that had been a con, she was a really good artist. It had been a piece of magic to watch.

My Favorite Series So Far
As a reader, romantic suspense is my favorite genre, I love getting sucked into a book that is both romantic and tense. It's the same with movies, give me kissing, gunfire and a good chase scenes and I'm happy :)
I never thought I'd be able to pull off writing a romantic suspense, but I ventured into this series and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's had its challenges-trying to ensure the story is authentic and realistic, but I won't regret the amount of research I did. I'm really proud of The Fugitive Series and would probably be bold enough to say that these are my favorite stories out of all the ones I've written so far.
Another twist I've put on this series is to write in two different points of view. I know Lucy is Zach's story, so therefore written in the 1st person for Zach and the 3rd person for Lucy. In Set Me Free (Book 2), Lucy takes over the 1st person and Zach shifts to the 3rd. It was sometimes complicated getting this right, but I'm so glad I made this decision. I think it's added a little something special to the book.
The last thing that makes this book so special for me is the cast of characters. Zach has some brilliant friends. In fact I've come to love them so much, that I've decided to write two more spin off books next year.
One will follow Elliot's story, while the other will look at Jaeda's. I already know the basics of what will happen to each of them and it's going to be super exciting!! Unlike I Know Lucy and Set Me Free, these two books will be stand-alone novels within the series.
I really hope you enjoy reading this series as much as I'm enjoying working on it!
