Book Talk Review; Looking For Alaska

Image
Looking For Alaska by John Green is a book that everyone should read      before.   Miles "Pudge" Halter's whole existence has been one big nonevent, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave the "Great Perhaps" (Francois Rabelais, poet) even more.     He heads off to the sometimes crazy. possibly unstable, and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe.     Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed-up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young, who is an event unto herself.     She pull Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart.  after.   Nothing is ever the same.  This book is totally awesome and if you don't believe me then here is a quote proving it  *Quote- "If people were rain, I was ...

Destructive Series by LU Ann Blog Tour

Image
Hey, I have Blog Tour on The Destructive Series by LU Ann   *Note- I Received ARC's for honest Reviews.  I am just going to do a general Review so I don't bore ya'll to death with my random scattered thoughts.  These two books made me cry a lot. It was so heart breaking and so emotional that there were times I couldn't go on because The tears were coming so hard.  Lacey is so strong and I can't imagine all the things she had to go through.  Lacey has been hurt by someone she trusted before and at nineteen she doesn't want to get close to anybody. She doesn't want to get hurt. Then she meets Caine.  The Destructive Series is about Lacey's journey as she tries to forget her past and work towards a better future.  Life isn't always so easy and The emotions are overwhelming. You get a good feel of what the character is going through. The author really did an amazing job on showing the reader Lacey's journey.  Lacey is so strong a...

Book Talk Review; Beautiful Redemption

Image
The last book in The Caster Chronicles is Beautiful Redemption.  While I didn't cry nearly as hard as when I read Beautiful Chaos this one did have some feel good happy moments that made me tear up a little.    Is death the end . . . or only the beginning?  Ethan Wate has spent most of his life longing to escape the stiflingly small Southern town of Gatlin. He never thought he would meet the girl of his dreams, Lena Duchannes, who unveiled a secretive, powerful, and cursed side of Gatlin, hidden in plain sight. And he never could have expected that he would be forced to leave behind everyone and everything he cares about. So when Ethan awakes after the chilling events of the Eighteenth Moon, he has only one goal: to find a way to return to Lena and the ones he loves.  Back in Gatlin, Lena is making her own bargains for Ethan's return, vowing to do whatever it takes -- even if that means trusting old enemies or risking the lives of t...
